and just keep going;<\/p>\n

He prods me in the paths of perfectionism<\/p>\n

for His reputation’s sake.<\/p>\n

Even as I walk through the valley of the shadow of burnout,<\/p>\n

I fear a breakdown;<\/p>\n

But no one can see the real me;<\/p>\n

Your expectations and Your people,<\/p>\n

they goad me on.<\/p>\n

You prepare a list of expectations before me<\/p>\n

in the presence of my peers;<\/p>\n

You provoke me on and on,<\/p>\n

My cup seems more parched than ever.<\/p>\n

Surely serenity and rest will elude me all the days of my life.<\/p>\n
