Criswell once said, \u201cGod gave us five senses: taste, touch, smell, sight, hearing; but we need two more: common and horse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">13.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Distinguish between \u201cdifficulties\u201d and \u201cerrors.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There is a vast difference between admitting that there are some \u201cdifficulties\u201d in understanding all that the Bible says and conceding that the Bible contains error.\u00a0 I join with the Apostle Peter in admitting that sometimes Scripture is difficult to understand (2 Peter 3:16), but I do not concede that there are errors within its pages.\u00a0 \u201cDifficulties\u201d leave room for further discussion, information, and study.\u00a0 More light on the given \u201cdifficulty\u201d will later become available and it would be premature to assume error.\u00a0 The jury is still out on any given alleged discrepancy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>12.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Assume harmony in parallel passages unless you have good reason to do otherwise.
