These are not three separate items. Isaiah dangles before us a tantalizing possibility: God \u201cwill be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge.\u201d Sounds inviting. How do I get in on this kind of relationship to God? The prophet continues: \u201cthe fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure\u201d (Isaiah 33:6, NIV). Can you see the treasure chest laden with riches? In your hand is the key to unlock it and make it yours.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jkitchen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fountain-2218380_1280.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3705\" src=\"https:\/\/jkitchen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fountain-2218380_1280-1024x570.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"676\" height=\"376\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jkitchen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fountain-2218380_1280-1024x570.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/jkitchen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fountain-2218380_1280-300x167.jpg 300w, https:\/\/jkitchen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fountain-2218380_1280-768x428.jpg 768w, https:\/\/jkitchen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fountain-2218380_1280-676x377.jpg 676w, https:\/\/jkitchen.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/fountain-2218380_1280.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 676px) 100vw, 676px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Second, <strong>a fountain<\/strong>. \u201cThe fear of the LORD is a fountain of life\u201d says Solomon (Proverbs 14:27a). Bubbling unceasingly, crystal, cold, clear water! The \u201cwater of life\u201d (Rev. 21:6; 22:1, 17)! Stop! On your knees! Like the secret door that opens to a world of wonder previously unknown and unimaginable, the fear of the Lord opens to possibilities you\u2019ve never yet considered. Put your hand upon the door.
