According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God&#8217;s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.&#8221;<\/span> <\/span><\/em>(1 Peter 1:3-5)<\/p>\n<p>Thirty years removed from the reality-altering events of the cross and empty tomb, Peter was still gripped by the living Christ!<\/p>\n<p>Five dimensions of reality are never the same after meeting the risen Christ.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><br \/>\n<strong>1. The resurrected Christ offers us UNLIMITED MERCY. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;According to his great mercy &#8230;&#8221; (v.3a)<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">2. The resurrected Christ offers us UNENDING LIFE. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He has caused us to be born again &#8230;&#8221; (v.3b)<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">3. The resurrected Christ offers us UNDYING HOPE.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are born again &#8220;to a living hope.&#8221; (v.3c)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>4. The resurrected Christ offers us UNDIMINISHED INHERITANCE.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We are born again &#8220;&#8230; to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you&#8221; (v.4)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>5. The resurrected Christ offers us UNFAILING SECURITY.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We are those &#8220;who by God&#8217;s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.&#8221; (v.5)<\/p>\n<p>Peter could never escape the wonder of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ.\u00a0\u00a0 This new life, this higher life, this resurreciton life, this life&#8211;the very life of Jesus&#8217; Himself&#8211;had become to him a relationship of unlimited mercy, unending life, undying hope, undiminished inheritance, and unfailing security.<\/p>\n<p>May you find the same as you repose your soul in repentant faith upon the crucified, risen Lord Jesus Christ!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8221; Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
